Some say that the Audi R8 V10 is equal to a Lamborghini Huracan in a suit. Others say that the R8 is one of the most comfortable daily-drivable supercars on the market today. Audi’s R8 was first introduced to the world in 2003 as the Audi Le Mans Quattro Concept. In June of 2006, it went into production and shortly after that was finally hitting the streets later that year as a 2007 Audi R8. Originally, these were built on the same chassis as the Lamborghini Gallardo and even shared the same engine. The second-generation Audi R8, which is the one featured in the gallery here was introduced in 2015, and like its first generation older sibling, was built using the same chassis and engine from the Lamborghini Huracan. This is where the Huracan in a suit saying comes from. Listen, we’re not complaining, we love both the R8 and the Huracan! The only other thing they both have in common is that they both look even better when equipped with a set of Vossen wheels. Remember that Lamborghini Huracan we did a while back with the Vossen wheels? Here’s a sick 2017 Audi R8 V10 on Vossen HF-5 wheels that we recently had the privilege of working on.
