Fellow Enthusiasts, here’s a new wheel design from Vossen. These are the HF-5. Vossen’s new Hybrid Forged HF-5 wheel is inspired by it’s fully forged counterpart the S21-01. It features a gorgeous y-spoke design in two standard finishes, gloss black and matte gunmetal. The pockets around the individual spokes help reduce some of the material weight without any sacrifice to the overall strength of the wheels. Paired with the aggressive y-spokes, these wheels will definitely compliment any sports car with a meaner looking stance and a clean aesthetic.

We mentioned Hybrid Forged earlier, this just refers to the manufacturing process of the wheel. Basically, how it is made. They take a cast wheel and mount it onto a flow forming drum. Then heat is applied and rollers are pressed onto the wheel. As the wheel spins, the rollers apply the pressure needed while the heat softens the material enough to stretch and compress the wheel. This makes for a better structure which results in a stronger and lighter barrel much like a fully forged wheel. The video below shows the process of Hybrid Forging but this is the HF-1 design, not the same wheel as the HF-5.

As far as the finishes go, Vossen also offers 9 custom finishes for the HF5 including a Satin Silver and a Satin Bronze as shown in the video below. As well as customizable fitments so that any car with a 5-lug bolt pattern can get a set.
